About the Role

The Environmental Services team plays a critical role in achieving CFA's mission by providing environmental advice, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and promoting sustainable behaviours.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the management of CFA's Water Monitoring Program across eight Victorian Emergency Management Training Centres and completing sustainable emissions and energy consumption reporting.

This opportunity demands significant project management expertise, especially in environmental projects, to deliver outcomes within set timelines and budgets. Please note you may be required to travel to CFA locations statewide (a vehicle will be provided on these occasions).

About You

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (environment or project management) or equivalent extensive and relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management delivery in a complex environment, ideally in environmental management or sustainability projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to successfully manage and influence stakeholder relationships and engagement.
  • Experience in effectively managing financial resources.
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, community and CFA members.
  • Understanding of risk management and ability to identify and manage a broad range of risks and business dependencies.
  • Experience in preparing and presenting professional project management reporting and briefing materials for senior management.
