About the Role
Join our Land and Building Services team, part of the Infrastructure Services Directorate, managing CFA's extensive real estate portfolio and delivering critical capital works projects across Victoria.
As a Project Manager, you'll lead assigned projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Reporting to the Program Manager, you'll provide expert project management, oversee implementation and offer strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders.
This ongoing role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in Construction project delivery, compliance and stakeholder engagement. Be part of a team shaping essential infrastructure that supports emergency services across the state.
Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
- Oversee building projects, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and documentation.
- Provide leadership in project governance, implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Develop evaluation criteria and track project performance.
- Advise senior management and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain effective communication and consultation with stakeholders.
- Monitor budgets,align objectives with program strategy, and ensure successful project delivery.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated significant experience in managing and coordinating multiple and/or complex building projects
and in applying project management methodologies.
- Tertiary qualifications in project management, a building related discipline or equivalent extensive and relevant experience.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership skills and demonstrated ability to obtain effective cooperation and contributions from stakeholders (intra and inter project collaboration)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to OH&S compliance applied to the delivery of projects
- Proven experience to effectively manage financial resources to deliver project outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multi-disciplinary teams
