Kingston Beach Early Learning Centre, is a community based not for profit organisation, licensed for 81 children.

We are currently searching for a highly motivated person who is passionate about cooking healthy nutritious meals for children. This is an excellent chance to join a friendly, vibrant, dynamic and supportive team environment.

Position Requirements

• To provide, in consultation with management, a rotational menu, that is nutritionally balanced and meets the dietary needs of children at the service.
• To ensure the kitchen is maintained in a hygienic manner and meets regulatory health and safety requirements.
• To monitor, record and implement correct Food Safe Handling Procedures.
• To purchase stock as required, in line with service procedure and budget.
• Demonstrate a high level of understanding regarding food handling and cross contamination risks when preparing food for allergies and intolerance's.

Successful applicant must be able to work 5 days Monday to Friday, up to 38 hours per week.

The position is available is for immediate start for those with an current working with vulnerable person's card.

Essential Requirements:

Current Working with Vulnerable Person's card.

Minimum 12 months cooking experience

Desired Qualifications

Certificate III In Commercial Cookery or other recognised culinary arts qualifications.
