Faculty of Medicine and Health

· Continuing, full-time

· Continuing, part time 17.5 hours per week

· $75,439 to $ 86,992 [part time pro rata] per annum (HEO5)

· Plus 17% employer superannuation

· Located Armidale UNE Campus

· Salary packaging options are available

· 5 weeks annual leave plus Christmas week shutdown, per annum, part time pro rata

· Current UNE Staff: In taking up this appointment, please be aware your current fixed term or permanent role will cease the day prior to you taking up this position.

About the role

The Administration Officer provides high – level administrative support, specialist knowledge relevant to the position as well as undertaking stand- alone assignments and projects. This position reports to the Team Leader and works closely with Integrated Services, School and Faculty staff across UNE. The Administration Officer will have a focus on assisting the Administration Support leadership to embed Position Statement Administration Officer processes and administer associated projects. Confidentiality, discretion and time management are critical components of this position.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have, problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to work flexibly and effectively within a team, or independently, to deliver agreed outcomes. You will need to demonstrate superior organisational skills, prioritising tasks, managing strict deadlines, and managing competing tasks whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.
