Perco Cleaning & Restoration is a family run business which provides 24/7 restoration services across Melbourne & Geelong and are looking for a full-time technician to join our team.

As a restoration technician you will be the first to respond and assist homeowners whose properties have been damaged by flood, fire, mould, malicious damage and other events. You will require sound people and communication skills, have an empathetic nature and pride yourself on delivering great work with an enthusiastic “can do” approach.

Day to day duties and responsibilities include:

Attend to water/mould/fire affected properties & commence the mitigation process which may include extraction, removal of affected materials, cleaning, pack out, sanitisation, installation of equipment

Attention to detail & administration requirements such as preparation & completion of worksheets, job notes & portal updates

Liaise with admin team members & external clients in relation to job updates, reporting & job requirements

Demonstrate professionalism, a strong work ethic & a “can do” attitude

Perform work in a safe manner & to a high standard

Frequent driving

You will be required to be on an On Call Roster system

Key Selection Criteria:

Full Driver's License & Construction Induction Card

Working with Children Check & Police Check or willing to obtain one

Previous restoration experience or experience in a similar industry

IICRC Accreditation is desired but not essential

Great presentation, clear communication & a willingness to learn

Other Requirements:

A reasonable level of fitness to carry out manual labouring duties including lifting of equipment & materials

Work on a rotating on call roster including weekend call outs

Able to work unsupervised or as member of a team
