Restoration Technician

Revive Restoration services the community efficiently and conscientiously through restoration in events such as flooding, mould, fire damage, trauma and more. We are looking to hire a Labourer/ Restoration Technician for our busy operation.

Full-time position with 3 months probation

Requirements

• Qualification is ideal (Certificate in WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION)
• Great attention to detail
• Good attitude and work ethic
• Able to navigate data entry efficiently
• Clean driving history
• Must hold current C Class (Manual/Auto) Open License
• Confident Driver in Larger Vehicles
• Ability to undergo a police check
• Possess a General Construction Induction (White Card) or willing to obtain one immediately
• Able to use your mobile phone for work purposes
• Looking for a long-term career
• Well presented
• Able to do overtime if required

Day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Use of restoration equipment

Mould remediation/treatment

Water extraction & structural drying

Interacting with clients

Moving furniture and contents

Smoke & soot damage remediation/cleaning

Carpet & upholstery cleaning

Use of your phone with mobile data to record accurate job information through an App (we use industry-related software and provide full training)

Occasional depot maintenance, equipment maintenance and general shop tidy work

Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Interpersonal skills

Efficient time management skills

Computer Literate- (The main report platform is Encircle App to be used on candidates phone)

Able to perform labour-intensive work

Able to work as a part of a team and collaborate with other staff

Willing to undergo in-house and industry-specific training

Position Demands:

Heavy lifting

Requirements to participate in full time work

Willing to work overtime – available to work occasional weekends and after hours as required

Willing to Travel if required

Desirable Experience:

Previous experience is necessary, training will be provided to the successful qualified applicant

Background in building and contents restoration

Previous experience in hands-on, physically demanding roles
