This is a high-impact backend role working across our AWS-based data infrastructure. You'll work with real-time systems, massive datasets, and a modern serverless stack—backed by a high-performing, collaborative team that values experimentation and learning.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems using Python, Lambda, Aurora (MySQL), DynamoDB, and Redshift
• Optimise large-scale queries and ETL pipelines
• Contribute to system design, process improvements, and product innovation
• Collaborate closely with technical leaders and founders

What You’ll Bring:

• 8+ years software development experience
• Strong AWS expertise (Solutions Architect certified preferred)
• Deep experience with Python, serverless (Lambda), and large-scale databases
• Strong ETL and data streaming experience (e.g. Apache Spark, Glue, Athena)
• CI/CD experience (CircleCI, Docker, Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or InfoSec frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS Marketplace or Serverless Framework
