Key Responsibilities:

Foster Respectful Relationships:

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with children, families, and the community.

Communicate and collaborate openly with families daily to support each child’s development.

Program Planning and Implementation:

Design, implement, and assess learning experiences that align with the educational program.

Work with your team to establish clear objectives for individual children and groups, ensuring alignment with our philosophy.

Documentation and Evaluation:

Maintain comprehensive records of children’s progress, including personal profiles, portfolios, and reports for parent-teacher interviews.

Evaluate and document learning objectives, working closely with your team to ensure continuous improvement.

Compliance and Professional Growth:

Adhere to the National Quality Framework (NQF) standards and elements.

Commit to ongoing professional development and actively contribute to our service’s Quality Improvement Plan.

Ensure policies, procedures, and service philosophies are upheld at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

1-2 years of experience in early childhood education Preferred.

Passionate about working with children and guiding their development.

A self-driven individual with a positive, proactive attitude.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).

First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.

Valid Working with Children Check.
