We are looking for someone to take on the Casual role of Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

You will be working within a busy small team environment. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.

You must be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved.

Duties includes:

Delivering chilled and frozen cartons to grocery customers in Greater Brisbane area

Liaising with warehouse manager on run cycle efficiency

Accurate and prompt picking/packing, receiving, and dispatching of goods in temperate controlled environment

Ad hoc duties

Working to deadlines in a demanding & fast paced environment

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Please note that on a daily basis manual labour and heavy lifting is required.

You will be driving a refrigerated ute with a tracker fitted.

To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes.

Experience in delivery driving within the food environment

Be a great communicator and team player

Committed and strong work ethic

Strong emphasis on road safety

Positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently

Punctual and reliable as well as flexibility with hours

Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties

Clean driving record

Forklift license would be beneficial

Previous experience working with cold chain logistics/warehousing would be highly regarded
