Delivery Driver

Le Cake is a premium quality cake, dessert and savoury manufacturer supplying the best Cafe's, Clubs, Restaurants, Hotels and Caterers.

We are seeking a casual Delivery Driver to join our team. We require the successful Delivery Driver to work 4 days per week, starting at 5.00 am daily. Expected average hours per week would be 25-30. There is also opportunity for addition on-call hours and holiday relief.

We deliver to businesses in all areas of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast Tuesday to Saturday using new comfortable fully refrigerated automatic vans that require a standard drivers licence.

Mandatory Requirements:-

• Open Manual Queensland license,
• immaculate driving record and pride themselves on safe and thoughtful driving practices;
• must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes,

The ideal applicant will possess the following criteria:-

• excellent knowledge of the Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coast road network;
• previous delivery experience with fragile perishable goods.
• experience with mobile eftpos machine usage and cash handling.
• physically fit with the ability to load, unload and deliver products
• well presented, punctual and reliable,
• customer service orientated with the ability to represent our business in a professional and courteous manner
• comfortable liaising with our customers whilst delivering products and checking orders
• ability to adhere to a delivery schedule
• attention to detail and problem solving skills
• strong literacy and numeric skills
• ability to adhere to Workplace Health and Safety regulations
• an understanding of HACCP food safety system
