Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Operations Support Driver (Linen & Supplies) to support our operations team in delivering linens and consumables across multiple properties. This role is key to ensuring a consistent supply of clean linen and guest essentials while helping us maintain Smart Suites’ high standards of cleanliness and comfort. A standard car license is sufficient as the role uses rental vans or trucks suited for car-licensed drivers.

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload clean linens and consumables into a delivery van or small truck.

Drive between the main warehouse and various Smart Suites properties in designated areas.

Count and report current stock of linens and consumables at each site.

Collect used linens from properties and return them to the linen supplier.

Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle during use.

Adhere to health, safety, and cleanliness protocols when handling supplies.

Requirements

Valid car driver’s license (suitable for vans/small trucks).

Physically fit – able to lift and carry laundry bags and supply boxes.

Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently.

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented, especially with stock counts.

Previous experience in delivery or logistics is a plus but not required.

Rates and Compensation

With Own Vehicle (Truck or Van): AUD $400 per delivery cycle

Approximately AUD $66–$100/hour (based on 4–6 hours of work)

Using Company-Provided Vehicle: AUD $200 per delivery cycle

Approximately AUD $33–$50/hour (based on 4–6 hours of work)

***Truck/van must be suitable for transporting large volumes of linens and consumables.

***This is a per-delivery-cycle rate. Fuel and vehicle rental costs are considered within the compensation. Time estimates include loading, transport, and site work.
