✅ A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
✅ A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and learning frameworks
✅ The ability to draw on early childhood theories, including sociocultural and play-based learning approaches
✅ Practical knowledge of schematic play, and how to observe and respond to children’s patterns of learning
✅ A strengths-based, positive behaviour support approach that fosters connection, not compliance
✅ Passion for loose parts play, sustainability, and open-ended exploration
✅ A flexible, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
