The role

Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, to start ASAP, full-time role will enable you to become part of a high performing full function AR team of 3. You will be responsible for the collection of overdue accounts via outbound collection calls and providing outstanding service to a loyal customer base. The role will be comprised of;

Duties

• Invoicing/Receipting
• Managing large number of accounts (approx 1500)
• Creating new accounts
• Customer service via online portals
• Ascertaining credit viability of customers
• Collections
• Managing large ledger (approx $3m)
• Banking/allocations
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit queries
• Stop supply
• Weekly credit reporting
• Raising credit notes/returns
• Liaising with other departments/sales teams re credit claims

Skills & experience

The successful candidate will have a proven collections ability and maintain a minimum of 5+ years in a full function Accounts Receivable position, preferably within the Manufacturing/Distribution industries. However, applicants with a proven business to business collection’s ability from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

Experience in working alongside internal sales teams and exposure to SAP will be ideal but not essential. You will maintain excellent communications skills and be self motivated. You will have a natural ability to build relationships both internally/externally. You will also be resilient and able to multitask and manage a high-volume workload.
