Join Our Team as an Overnight Operations Coordinator

We seek a reliable and organized individual to join our team in the overnight operations role, managing refrigerated transportation services between East Coast capital cities and support the day operations.

Role: Overnight Operations Coordinator

Location: Sunshine West

Hours: Overnight shift Monday - Thursday, 11 pm till 5.30 am

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the dispatch, tracking, and arrival of refrigerated vehicles travelling between East Coast capital cities.

Monitor vehicle locations and manage logistics to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Respond promptly to operational issues, including assisting in refrigeration malfunctions and communicating effectively with drivers and management and escalating when required.

Support staff with NHVR responsibilities through the use of Logmaster.

Update vehicle maintenance records to ensure fleet reliability.

Assist in freight distribution into driver cages to facilitate organized loading and unloading for the following day.

Support the unloading of the Melbourne truck, ensuring timely processing and distribution.

Maintain accurate and organized records of transportation schedules and incidents.

Provide handover to data time manager.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience with logistics, fleet management, transport operations, or knowledge of refrigeration systems is preferred.

Previous experience with National Heavy Vehicle Regulations

Experience with materials handling either personally or supervising.

Comfortable with overnight shifts and independent decision-making.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills to support the driver team.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and fleet tracking software.

Has a background in process-driven workflows.
