Emanate Technology are working with a well known brand in Brisbane to find a Senior Software Engineer with a Front End Focus. With a significant project commencing, they have a need for someone who can hit the ground running and create impact immediately.

The contract will initially run until 30th June, with potential extensions to line up with project completion, mid 2027.

As an organisation this client offers a flexible hybrid environment and clear and achievable goals for their team. Working ~1 day per week in office, there is a high level of autonomy and focus expected of any successful candidate.

The role covers the full stack, with a strong lean towards the front end - supporting on the Back End. You'll be building rapid prototype polished, UX-first interfaces in React from brief inputs, requiring highly developed communication to ensure success. Taking concept through to a working product you will collaborate with the Tech Lead and project team to build early UX flows and help shape the technical foundation of the app.

You'll bring:

• React, TypeScript, ShadCN UI, React Query
• TailwindCSS, Vite, GitLab CI
• MSW or similar for API mocking
• Java APIs with Messaging Queuing functionality
• Modern dev stack with Gitlab CI/CD and deploying to Kubernetes
• A natural and pracical approach to UX
• Sound knowledge of Front End Architecture
