Long term Contract opportunity for a Senior .Net Engineer who can work on Large Scalable Applications within a modern Software business with great Tech.

This role is working with a well known established and modern business where Engineering Practices are well set up; they employ a large number of Software Engineers who are very talented in their own right. It's hard to get a role here, but when you do, you know you will be working with the best in Melbourne!

Experience required:

• Solid development experience (10+yrs) in .NET stack including C#, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs. Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, domain-driven development, dependency injection and general design patterns.
• Experience with modern frontend technology, particularly React (Advantage), although the role is more Backend focused.
• Good understanding of developing scalable cloud solutions across one or more major platforms.
• Key AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, OpenSearch)
• Previously built and scaled microservice-based and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of both NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and MongoDB and relational databases.
• Work experience with Kafka and RabbitMQ

Other Info:

• Daily Rate ($900 - $1000 per day inc Super, depending on experience)
• 6 months contract with extensions likely depending on your performance
• Melbourne-based (2 days in office per week, CBD)
