About the Role

The Life Pharmacy Group is currently seeking a Pharmacy Assistant, on a full-time basis! This opportunity is ideal for anyone looking for a career in pharmacy. In this position, the Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a friendly atmosphere, ensuring that customer’s needs are clearly identified and met, whilst promoting our pharmacy as a professional centre for information, advice, and complete health care solutions.

Duties include but not limited to:

Provide superior customer service

Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all in-store products

Identify and meet customer needs for over the counter products

Provide expert advice to customers on product features, benefits and side effects

Promotion of the pharmacy’s loyalty program and other in-store promotions

Maintenance of stock and participation in stocktakes

Other general duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy

To excel in this role you will need:

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to communicate with a variety of people

Good attention to detail

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to promote in-store activities and programs

A willingness to undertake training

Pharmacy or retail experience

Previous cash handling experience (not essential)
