As the Receptionist at our busy accounting practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and a passion for helping people.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
Answer and manage incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately
Manage client bookings, appointments, and meeting room schedules
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area
Provide general administrative support to accountants and office staff
Assist with document preparation, scanning, filing, and data entry
Manage office supplies and stationery orders
Support client onboarding and assist with client information updates
Perform other administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Highly organized with attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
Professional presentation and a positive attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working in a professional services environment (advantageous but not essential)
