Platinum Support Australia is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our teams in

Deception Bay, QLD - START LATE MAY/EARLY JUNE We are searching for a whole new team for our new participant coming onboard in Late May/Early June. (1:1 & 2:1 Support- Young Male with Complex Behaviours, Experience a must)!!

Beachmere QLD (1:3 Ratio, with High Intensity Support - Dysphagia, Subcutaneous Injections & Catheter)

Caboolture, QLD (1:3 Ratio, with High Intensity Support - PEG, Stoma, Subcutaneous injections, Behaviours)

As a casual Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our participants in the disability sector. This is a Supported Independent Living (SIL) role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support.

What you will do

Provide quality, personalised care and support to participants in their homes and in the community

Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and housekeeping

Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote participant wellbeing and independence

Advocating for participants rights and ensuring their needs are met

Maintaining detailed participant records and mandatory documentation

Collaborating with the team, and stakeholders to deliver a coordinated, and individual approach

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector, with a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities

Reliable & Honest people, who actually want to work!

Fluent English/ Ability to communicate effectively

A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with participants, and their families.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a participant-centered approach

Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse and changing needs of participants

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

NDIS Workers Screening Card (or willingness to obtain)

BLUE Card (We also have a Children's Respite) (or willingness to obtain)
