We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment to join our team. Based in Mackay, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting talent.

Monday to Friday

Your role will be split across two key areas:

1. Talent Sourcing & Engagement

Working with our leadership team to source suitable candidates

Source new candidates using appropriate strategies, (advertising, network channels and referrals)

Phone screening and interviewing candidates face to face

Review applications and shortlist candidates

Proactively source active and passive candidates for various roles

Maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities

Conduct targeted candidate searches to build a strong pipeline

2. Recruitment Administration & Process Improvement

Build talent pools of allied health professionals and other key roles

Advertise vacancies and manage applications, ensuring a seamless candidate experience

Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers

Track, refine, and improve recruitment processes

Assist with recruitment tasks such as position descriptions and reference checks.

Promote our employer brand on LinkedIn and other social media platforms

What We’re Looking For

Experience LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search and all social media platforms for recruitment

Proven experience in recruitment, ideally in the manufacturing and mining industry

Ability to work autonomously in a small, agile team

High emotional intelligence (EQ) – skilled at building instant rapport with candidates

A track record of success in sourcing and engaging passive candidates

Flexibility and adaptability to contribute to process improvements in a growing business

Ability to manage priorities independently

Skills & Experience

Ideally 12 months prior experience similar roles - employment services, mine site administration, call centre/customer service etc.

Prior knowledge or experience in the manufacturing and mining industry highly regarded.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through to completion.

The ability to work within a team and develop long-lasting employee/client relationships
