As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Paint and Panel Specialist to join our dynamic team and ensure our expanding fleet of trucks and equipment remains in top condition.

Job Summary:

As a Paint and Panel Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the visual appearance and integrity of our fleet of trucks and equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out paint and panel repairs, ensuring all vehicles are in good working order and presenting a professional appearance. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, expertise in paint and panel work, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform paint and panel repairs on the company fleet, including trucks, excavators, and other equipment.

Conduct vehicle assessments to identify areas requiring touch-ups, repairs, or full repainting.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and masking to ensure high-quality finishes.

Apply coatings and finishes to equipment to maintain professional appearance and protect against wear and environmental damage.

Carry out minor bodywork and panel repairs, including filling, sanding, and straightening of metal.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of fleet vehicles to ensure they meet safety and aesthetic standards.

Keep an organized inventory of paint and panel materials, tools, and equipment.

Work closely with the fleet and maintenance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upkeep.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Assist in fleet customization and modifications as required for specific projects or operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience as a Paint and Panel Specialist, Panel Beater, or similar role in the automotive or industrial sector.

Expertise in paint application, panel repairs, and bodywork.

Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.

Trade qualification (preferred but not essential).

Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments.

Valid driver’s license (essential).
