About the Role
As an Administrative Officer within the Delivery Unit, you will be part of a team responsible for driving high-priority projects across the department. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to project managers and team members to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with departmental standards.
You’ll use a range of software programs and information management systems to maintain data integrity, manage shared inboxes, and handle documentation effectively. This is a role where attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication skills are key to success.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:
- Accurately enter and update data in departmental databases and project management systems
- Manage shared Outlook inboxes, prioritising and distributing correspondence appropriately
- Carry out document control duties, including version tracking, filing, and ensuring compliance with departmental document management protocols
- Support the broader team with general administration tasks such as meeting coordination, minute-taking, and document formatting
- Maintain clear and consistent records to meet audit and compliance standards
- Work independently to complete allocated tasks while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Requirements & Skills To be successful, you will bring:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality data and documentation
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word and Excel confidently for reporting, formatting, and tracking information
- A proactive and self-directed approach to time management and task prioritisation
- Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence and documentation
- A working knowledge of recordkeeping procedures, with the ability to follow processes and ensure data integrity
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
