Logistics & Maintenance Assistant – Darwin, NT

Monsterball Amusements is expanding in the Northern Territory and we're on the hunt for a reliable, hands-on Logistics & Maintenance Assistant to support operations at our Darwin branch. If you’ve got a knack for keeping things moving, enjoy working with gear, and are all about safety and efficiency, this one’s for you.
Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on experience
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Darwin Branch Manager and Logistics Coordinator to help with deliveries, maintain our event equipment (including inflatables), organise the warehouse, and assist with day-to-day logistics. You'll also play a role in preparing gear for events and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Operations
Assist with daily deliveries and pickups of event equipment
Help with packing, loading/unloading to avoid damage and delays
Support vehicle maintenance and servicing routines
Equipment & Warehouse
Help maintain, clean, and store inflatables and event gear
Assist in equipment repairs and ensure proper storage practices
Keep the warehouse organised and tidy
Staff & Safety
Follow all WHS procedures and assist in safety checks
Work with the team to ensure safe handling of gear and vehicles
Report any incidents, hazards, or equipment faults
Reporting & Communication
Communicate with the Branch Manager and Logistics Coordinator on daily schedules
Report on equipment status, warehouse needs, and vehicle conditions
Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience in logistics, warehouse, or event operations preferred
A proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn
Basic mechanical skills or experience with equipment handling is a bonus
Awareness of WHS procedures and workplace safety
Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills
