About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aged or Disabilities Carer to join our team at Tunza Care Services' in Geraldton, WA. As a full-time carer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

Providing support with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration

Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring client health

Engaging clients in social activities, outings, and recreational programs

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to client care

Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients

Adhering to all relevant health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Minimum 1 year of experience in aged or disability care, or a related field

Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or a related qualification

Ability to work with empathy, patience, and a person-centred approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care

A current Driver's Licence and reliable transportation
