My Foodie Box is a rapidly growing start-up. We have delivered thousands of meal kits to customers across Perth and our goal is to reinvent the home cooking experience by offering busy people a simple way to create delicious and healthy meals. We are now expanding and looking for our next Team Leader who will assist with our Eastern states production.

WHO’S IN THE KITCHEN:

Reporting to the Head of Operations and Logistics, we are seeking an experienced Team Leader - Picker-Packer looking to make a difference. You will have the ability to engage, lead and motivate a team.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU:

Effectively lead the picking-packing team (this includes but is not limited to shift scheduling, performance tracking and training) in a positive and safe environment.

Provide feedback, coaching, guidance and recognition to enhance team’s skill development.

Ensure compliance with WHS, OHS and HSE and resolve any incidents or hazards as reported.

Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance of operations.

Seek and implement improvement initiatives for the warehouse (receiving of goods, QC checks, stocktake, space optimisation).

Actively seek and recommend policies, operational systems and training plans to improve operations flow

Actively train and inspire team members about the quality of products

NECESSARY INGREDIENTS:

Proven leadership and management experience

Afternoon/Evening and Weekend Availability where shifts will be rostered

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with your team, collaborate and drive them to success.

Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, change and process improvement

Experience with food handling (can be hospitality background)

Previous experience in a FMCG production/manufacturing environment (desired but not essential)

Effective communication and influencing capability

Strong safety mindset in all facets of work

Proven experience managing, developing, and retaining individuals and teams

Must be physically fit and able to lift and move boxes of up to 15kg, and work within a temperature-controlled environment
