KBX, is seeking skilled and enthusiastic Diesel Fitters and Serviceman to join our dynamic team. If you have experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to safety and precision, this is the role for you!

About the Role:

As a Diesel Fitter or Serviceman, you will play a key role in providing high-quality maintenance, repair services, and inspections for mining operations. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing mechanical issues, ensuring mining equipment runs at peak performance. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development in a thriving industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform essential maintenance, repairs, and inspections on heavy-duty mining equipment

Troubleshoot and fix mechanical issues on diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Support your team with component change-outs and routine maintenance tasks

Ensure all work is performed safely, following company safety protocols and procedures

Report mechanical faults, delays, and other issues in a timely manner

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter or Serviceman, ideally in the mining or heavy equipment industry

Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems related to mining equipment

Capability to carry out manual handling tasks

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Willingness to work on a 7/7 rotating shift roster

Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening

Essential Qualifications:

Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter (or equivalent)

Serviceman is required to have RII for Service Mine Plant and Equipment ( Willing to help obtain for the right candidate )

Driver's License

Coal Board Medical

Standard 11 (Willing to help obtain for the right candidate)
