About the role
Belcher Diesel Service Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter and an Automotive Electrician to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. These full-time roles will involve providing a wide range of repairs on site and in our clean, fully-equipped workshop.

You will be required to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on heavy diesel equipment (loaders, skid steers, dozers), trucks (Caterpillar, Kenworth), marine vessels (21-400ft), light vehicles and other diesel engines (generators, fire pump engines).

What we're looking for

• Trade qualifications as Heavy Diesel Fitter or Automotive Electrician, with experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Current driver's licence and your own basic hand tools
• Ability to maintain detailed records of all work carried out using our app based program
• Ability to undertake drug and alcohol screenings, blood tests and inductions for site work where required
• Clean and friendly demeanour
