Salary: $72,800 per year - 56 hours per fortnight across 7 shifts

We are seeking Intensive Care Transition Team Members to join our team. You’ll be supporting a client with complex, intellectual disabilities, who has significant behaviours of concern. This is a highly rewarding position that requires someone empathetic, professional, and able to negotiate challenging situations with resilience and composure.
About the Role:
You will be working two to one with an individual living in a secure setting who has had very limited engagement with the outside world. This role is not about "doing for" - it's about "being with." Your primary focus will be on therapeutic conversation, building rapport, and supporting the development of social and emotional skills. This is a deeply rewarding and impactful role designed for individuals in allied health fields, especially those looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with complex needs.
This role would particularly suit students or recent graduates of:
Psychology
Occupational Therapy
Social Work
Counselling
Speech Pathology
Other related fields
Mental health nurse
You will receive:

Experience in disability, mental health, or support work
Enrolled in or recently completed an allied health qualification
