About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Lubrication Technician to join our team on a casual to full-time basis at Karara Mine in Geraldton. This is an 8/6 position, day and night shift rotations. This role is responsible for performing routine lubrication works on fixed plant assets within a mining process facility.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Complete all required safety documentation before commencing works including G2G, JHA/SWP/SWMS and permit to work.

• Follow the site and company safety rules and procedures including wearing the protective PPE required for performing the works safely.

• Conduct machine pre starts and checks on the equipment and tools to ensure they are safe to use.

• Perform lubrication tasks on fixed plant equipment, including filter, oil and breather change outs, and hose replacements.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on lubrication systems and equipment.

• Collect and dispatch lubrication samples for analysis, followed by implementation of subsequent actions based on results.

• Complete all planned lubrication work orders.

• Enhance equipment reliability and lifespan through the implementation of lubrication best practices.

• Perform alternative tasks other than lubrication works as directed by the responsible supervisor.

About you:

Australian recognized trade certificate.

Valid Australian Driver's License.

Current Working at Heights certification.

Current Confined Space Entry Training.

Australian High Risk Work License in Forklift, Gantry and EWP (desirable).

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the mining/construction industry.

Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Demonstrated willingness to follow policies and procedures.
