About the Role

RUC Indonesia (part of the Redpath Australia Group) are seeking 2 experienced Raisebore Fitters to join our operations at Freeport in Papua, Indonesia. This position is an expatriate position in Indonesia.

Your duties will be varied and involve:

· Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts

· Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support

· Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Qualification and Skill Required:

· Mechanical or Fitter Trade Certificate

· Minimum 5 years’ underground mining experience included 3 years’ experience on Raisebore Machines.

· Ability and willingness to transfer/mentor their skills & knowledge to local personnel.

· A valid passport with validity 20 months before expiration date.

· A valid National Police Clearance (within 6 months)

· A work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto Consider it done — safely.
