About the role

Brightt is seeking a Trainee Specialist Behaviour Support Therapist to join our dedicated team in Bundaberg, QLD. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality behaviour support services to clients, helping them develop strategies to manage challenging behaviours and improve their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

Assessing clients' needs and developing personalised behaviour support plans

Implementing evidence-based behaviour support interventions

Collaborating with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals

Monitoring progress and adjusting behaviour support plans as needed

Maintaining detailed client records and reporting

Participating in professional development and team meetings

What we're looking for

A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, education or a related field

Strong interpersonal and communication skills in high pressure situations like customer service or disability fields

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Enthusiasm for continuing professional development

A current driver's licence
