About the role

This Administration Officer Compliance is responsible for providing administration functions, assistance and support to the Development and Asset Assurance Unit, with a primary focus upon the enforcement administration requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process applications for, and issue, permits to allow works within roads.
  • Assist with the administrative duties for all areas of the Development and Asset Assurance Unit as directed by the Team Leader Development Management and Unit Manager Development and Asset Assurance.
  • Process and generate requests for purchase orders and account payments in accordance with Council procedures.
  • Provide administration support for the Asset Assurance Officer with the scheduling of vehicle crossing inspections.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Skills and experience require to perform the role
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and record keeping computer programs.
  • Ability to adopt a flexible, adaptable approach to work to meet changing demands and service delivery approaches.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of infringement or compliance administration processes.
  • Ability to work constructively in a team environment and contribute to a supportive team culture.
