Salary: $70,000 - $74,000 p.a + superannuation + salary packaging. (Commencing salary will be negotiated with the successful candidate depending on qualifications, skills and experience.)

Many Rivers Aboriginal Housing (Many Rivers) is a respected not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing Aboriginal community housing services. We manage over 650 properties across NSW and offer tailored support to meet the needs of our tenants. With offices in Port Macquarie and Byron Bay, we are committed to providing high-quality, best-practice services that positively impact the lives of our tenants, their families, and the wider community. The Role:
We are seeking a Housing Officer to join our team in either our Port Macquarie or Byron Bay office. This role is an Aboriginal Identified position, and we encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You will be responsible for providing effective tenancy and property management services for a portfolio of Social and Affordable homes. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a passion for community housing and supporting Aboriginal communities in the region.

Previous experience in social housing is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality tenancy and property management services.

Support the needs of tenants across a portfolio of Social and Affordable homes.

Ensure efficient management of housing services, meeting organisational standards and best practices.

The role includes periodic regional overnight travel with other staff using company vehicle to perform property inspections.

Requirements:

Unrestricted NSW driver's license

Ability to satisfactorily complete Police and Working with Children Checks
