Contract Site Manager – D&C Fit-Out Project (Sydney CBD)

We’re on the lookout for a highly capable Site Manager with proven experience delivering commercial Design & Construct (D&C) fit-out projects. This is a 4-month contract based in the Sydney CBD, working with a reputable contractor on a high-quality interior fit-out. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of fast-paced, detail-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site works to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.
• Manage subcontractors across multiple trades, ensuring works are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, building codes, and OH&S regulations.
• Work closely with the project manager, consultants, and stakeholders to meet deadlines and resolve any site issues.
• Maintain a sharp focus on program, productivity, and finish quality, while driving outcomes on a live CBD site.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects (D&C experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of buildability, sequencing, and managing trades in tight CBD environments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to uphold quality, safety, and program expectations under pressure.
