About the opportunity
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment or Mercy Hospital for women and various other departments throughout the hospital.
What you'll bring
You're resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a sterlisation unit, have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively alongside the team as well as independently, excellent interpersonal skills, communication and time management skills important.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
