About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our client's multidisciplinary team supporting individuals living with disability. You will be working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, delivering evidence-based psychological interventions that make a real impact on people’s lives.
Your Purpose
To provide specialized psychological assessment, intervention, and support for individuals with disabilities—enhancing their mental well-being and helping them overcome life’s challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Educate and support families and caregivers
Monitor and report on client progress
Provide crisis intervention and facilitate group therapies/workshops as needed
Conduct home visits and write detailed clinical reports
Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality at all times

Essential Criteria
Full registration as a Psychologist (AHPRA)
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology
NDIS Worker Screening Check or equivalent
Proven experience in the disability sector
Experience in behaviour and/or clinical assessments
Ability to manage challenging behaviours
Understanding of NDIS Standards and Guidelines
Strong multidisciplinary team experience
Desirable
Lived experience or in-depth understanding of disability
Ability to perform autism assessments/diagnosis
