About the role
This position is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of road and stormwater drainage infrastructure asset maintenance services, including managing a large team, budgets, and responding to customer requests.
This is an on-site position.

Duties

• Lead and manage a large team, including supervisors and operational personnel.
• Play a pivotal role in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts.
• Oversee the maintenance of road and stormwater assets.
• Develop and implement asset maintenance programs and drive continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and legislative requirements.
• Oversee a substantial operational budget of approximately $10 million annually.
• Respond to customer requests and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree - Civil
• At least 10+ years of relevant experience in road and stormwater infrastructure maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large teams and operational budgets.
• Experience with disaster recovery funding is highly regarded.
• Local government experience is highly regarded.
• Current Car Licence
