Applicants are invited to apply for the position of CAD table operator in the Cardboard industry. Working with 2 large CAD cutting machines, you will be responsible for their daily operation, calibration and cleanliness. The environment is fast moving and requires a good level mechanical aptitude and logic for efficient operation.

Teamwork is very important in the small factory environment and we encourage good communication within the group for an efficient daily operation.

Answering to the production supervisor, the daily routine will encompass loading and unloading large cardboard sheets onto the cutting tables. A weekly schedule is set, with a vast array of jobs listed on these machines for manufacture. Each machine is computer controlled and a vacuum suction system holds the sheets in place. The operation of the machines including the software used to operate them is straight forward, but training will be provided on all facets of the operation. Other tasks may include gluing, assembly of products and generation of delivery dockets for completed jobs.

The operator will need to be able to lift, twist, turn and carry cardboard sheets in the daily operation of these machines.

The operator is expected to keep the work area tidy and organized for health and safety.
