About the role

We are seeking a Draftperson to join our Projects Team at DEM Fire & Essential Services Group. In this full-time position you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate drawings and designs for our minor works installations as well as assisting in preparing documentation for larger projects. Your attention to detail and strong understanding of fire services both wet and dry as well as project requirements will be essential to ensuring the ongoing success of our business.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing project plans, designs and make amendments as per our conducted works.

Assist in the compilation of technical document handover for project completion.

Collaborating with the project management team to optimise cost-effective solutions

Attend onsite meetings to assist in drafting completion.

Communication and building relationships with clients and potential customers

What we're looking for

Some experience within the Fire Protection Industry or building services/construction industry.

Understanding and knowledge of AS1670, AS2118 and AS2419

Proficient in the use of software tools (Autocad, Bluebeam, Rivet).

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Effective communication skills
