About the company:

A leading fire protection contractor specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of advanced fire safety systems. Their service & maintenance team has doubled in size over the past year and they are looking for an experienced Service/Compliance Manager to support this continued expansion. Their portfolio consists of data centre and high end clients, high high value contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Service Operations: Manage the scheduling, performance, and efficiency of fire protection service teams to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with Australian fire safety standards (AS1851, NCC, BCA) and other relevant regulations across all service activities.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the key contact for clients, providing expert advice on fire protection maintenance, compliance, and service improvements.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and generate compliance reports to ensure all service activities meet contractual and legal requirements.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor service technicians, ensuring ongoing training and development to uphold industry best practices and compliance.

Requirements:

• Fire Safety Accreditation – at least all accredidation up to level 1 hydrants & sprinklers
• Industry Experience – Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire protection services, maintenance, or compliance management.
• Regulatory Knowledge – Strong understanding of Australian fire safety standards (AS1851, NCC, BCA) and other relevant compliance regulations.
• Leadership Skills – Proven experience in managing service teams, providing training, technical assistance, and ensuring high operational performance.
• Technical Expertise – Hands-on knowledge of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, hydrants, and passive fire measures.
