Prvidr has supported customers in the banking and finance, telecommunications, media and cloud computing segments with business management platform-as-a-service capabilities across all functional domains from buy, through to order management, payments, and lifecycle management of the customer.

We are the platform behind some of Australia’s most loved mobile brands.

We supply and operate the technology, logistics and customer service centres for brands such as Coles Mobile and Catch Connect, plus many more.

The Role

You will be part of a highly skilled team of Software Developer responsible for the diverse set of platforms that support mission-critical services for our managed customers. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining software solutions for the telecommunications industry—particularly in an Optus wholesale environment. The successful candidate will be a full-stack developer with hands-on expertise in Node JS / Vue J.S JavaScript, PHP, Java, n8n, and SQL. You will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and optimisation of platforms that support telco and subscription-based products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Examples of things you'll work on:

o Next Generation Low Code relational CRM.

o Graphical business process modelling (BPMN).

o Graphical low code iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) cloud automation.

o High performance subscription billing engines.

o Work on decision intelligence solutions designed to optimise the decisions made within subscription businesses.

o Maintaining existing established systems through to migration and retirement.

Your Responsibilities:

Full-Stack Development

o Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions for telco subscription-based products using JavaScript (front-end), PHP, Java, and SQL.

o Implement APIs, integrations, and workflows using n8n and other relevant tools, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and best practices.

o Collaborate with designers to create intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences.

Telecommunications & Optus Integration

o Leverage in-depth knowledge of Optus wholesale services and APIs to develop robust, scalable, and secure integrations.

o Work with telecommunication protocols and platforms to enable advanced features, billing, provisioning, and customer account management.

o Troubleshoot and resolve any telco-specific issues, working closely with technical support teams and external vendors (including Optus) when necessary.

Platform Architecture & Optimisation

o Contribute to the architecture and design of scalable, reliable, and efficient software solutions.

o Identify performance bottlenecks and propose optimisations, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.

o Evaluate new technologies and tools (e.g., frameworks, databases, cloud services) to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Demonstrated experience in building complex relational applications, ideally with CRM and/or Billing solutions.

Experience in online commerce and customer self-service portal design, build, and integration.

Experience automating and improving business processes using integration.

A passion for progressive software development and sharing knowledge within a cohesive team.

Expert level experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design.

Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to new applications, systems, and their codebases.

Proven experience securing systems in compliance with PCI-DSS and ISO210001 standards.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving complex software issues, particularly in telco-centric solutions.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

Australian Work Rights: Must have the legal right to work in Australia and be open to background checks if required.
