We have a committed team of Rehabilitation Specialists, Allied Health and Nursing staff, dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care to patients as directed by the Registered Nurse

Provide direct care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Assist Registered and Enrolled Nurses with patient care interventions as directed

Contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required

Communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with Hospital protocol.

Participate as a member of the rehabilitation interdisciplinary team

Communicate accurately all relevant information to medical/nursing/allied health staff

Supervise and educate personal service attendant

Participate in hospital quality project

Essential:

AIN Certificate or equivalent

Experience in a hospital or similar setting as AIN or equivalent

Demonstrated clinical knowledge and relevant experience

Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes

Effective communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of team

Basic computer skills

Full working rights in Australia

Current National Police History check

Desirable:

Working knowledge of the National Health Care standards.
