ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about teaching and sharing your expertise in hospitality? Wodonga TAFE is looking for a dynamic and engaging Hospitality Teacher to inspire and guide the next generation of industry professionals. If you’re dedicated to providing quality training in a hands-on, supportive learning environment, we want to hear from you!
In this exciting role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment in hospitality, providing students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the industry. You will contribute to the development of the course content, facilitate engaging classes, and provide practical industry insights. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring students have access to the latest trends and best practices in hospitality.
Selected Duties:
Deliver engaging and effective training in hospitality courses, both theory and practical.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning.
Develop and maintain relevant and up-to-date course content and resources.
Support students to achieve their learning goals, providing guidance and mentorship.
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to ensure a well-rounded education.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

2 years relevant industry experience in hospitality with a passion for teaching.
Current Teaching qualification in accordance with the Victorian TAFE Association, or willingness to obtain.
Current Victorian Working with Children Check or current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
