Payless Tyres and Brakes (Hapini Pty Ltd) is looking for an experienced Full Time Motor Mechanic with the right attitude to join our friendly team in our busy workshop in Chatswood.

Description of the Position:

Your role as a Motor Mechanic will range from vehicle servicing, clutches, brakes, diagnostics, suspension, major and minor repairs.

Skills & Experience:

• You must be a ‘Trade Qualified Motor Mechanic’ with a minimum 3 years relevant experience.
• Conduct a complete range of motor vehicle diagnosis and fault finding in accordance with Australian Industry Standards and Practice.
• Have a solid understanding of all fault reports, maintenance and inspection forms and provide automotive technical advice as required.
• Use knowledge and skills to acquire automotive parts and accessories for all repairs and maintenance as required.
• Use knowledge and skills to assist repairs in a cost effective and efficient manner.
• Operate hoists in accordance with safe industry practices
• Maintain a strong occupational health and safety work ethic and attitude.
• Have a high standard and quality of work.
• Be punctual, reliable, honest and proactive.
• Be able to work in a team and have good communication skills.
• Must have driver’s licence.
