As a Motor Mechanic at Baker Motors , you will be responsible for:

Fault Diagnosis: Identifying and diagnosing mechanical issues across engines, transmissions, steering systems, and other vehicle components.

Engine Dismantling & Removal: Carefully dismantling engines and related components for inspection and necessary repairs.

Parts Repair & Replacement: Replacing damaged or worn-out parts to restore vehicle functionality and improve overall performance.

Routine Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled services such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to maintain optimal vehicle performance and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Rebuilding & Reassembly: Rebuilding engines and mechanical systems after repairs, ensuring all components are reassembled to precise specifications for safe operation.

Testing & Adjustment: Using diagnostic equipment to test and adjust mechanical components, ensuring everything is functioning correctly post-repair.

Advanced Diagnostic Support: Utilizing cutting-edge computer diagnostic tools to aid in fault detection and resolution.

Vehicle Inspections & Certifications: Performing detailed vehicle inspections and issuing roadworthiness certificates or recommending further repairs for compliance.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic with hands-on knowledge of vehicle systems.

Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills.

Ability to perform both basic and complex maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicle makes and models.

Familiarity with modern diagnostic tools and computer-based systems.
