About the role

BigDog Support Services' sister company, Scottvale Health Club, is seeking a part-time Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Rockhampton, QLD. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our allied health professionals in delivering high-quality fitness and personal training services to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Assisting allied health professionals such as exercise physiologists and physiotherapists

Providing hands-on support to clients during therapy and training sessions

Monitoring client progress and reporting any changes or concerns to the allied health professionals

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records

Ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of our therapy and training spaces

Supporting the administration and coordination of client bookings and schedules

What we're looking for

Certificate or enrolment in III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or a related field

Experience working as an allied health assistant or in a similar support role

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

A genuine interest in health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals

A current First Aid certificate and CPR qualification
