The Griffith University School of Health Sciences and Social Work offers a range of educational programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Brisbane South (Nathan) and Gold Coast campuses. The School has a strong research focus, with academic staff from diverse disciplinary backgrounds across Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech Pathology, Exercise and Sport, Social Work, and Human Services.

Job Description

As a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, you will have a passion and commitment to occupation-centred practice, research and education. Griffith University is currently recruiting for two Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic team.

The Occupational Therapy Program is renowned for its commitment to active and authentic learning approaches, shaping students into occupation-centred, theory-driven, evidence-based, and client-centred professionals. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about contemporary paradigms and occupation-centred practice, and who are eager to contribute to the advancement of evidence and knowledge in these critical areas.

These positions are continuing, full-time position primarily based at either the Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.

For this role you must have a doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing and/or significant progress towards completion of a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline. You will also have or eligible and willing to obtain a membership with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
