About us

Emble Allied Health is a large private practice that offers family-centred and evidence-based Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Dietetics, Feeding Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy and Key Working services to children from birth through to adolescence.

We operate from our purpose-built and modern 715 sqm clinic space located in Mill Park.

About the role

We are seeking a Client Liaison Officer to join our team on a 12 month (fixed term) part-time basis, and fulfil the following shifts:

Days of work: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

Hours: Monday 9:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday & Thursday 10am-6pm (hours may be open to slight negotiation)

Currently, this position is a fixed term (12 months), however, depending on the needs of the business, this may be extended.

Duties and responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities may include:

Provision of exceptional client service that continually exceeds client expectations.

Handle general enquiries and referrals for Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Dietetics, Feeding Therapy, Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Key Working services, as well as, all other inbound enquiries.

Resolve any complaints in an empathetic and timely manner.

Develop and maintain administrative records.

Book, reschedule and manage bookings of initial consultations, therapy sessions/appointments and meetings - to support clinician's ability to meet their KPIs.

Maintain strong and accurate record keeping practices to ensure business and legal requirements.

Undertaking administrative roles related to taking payments, billing / invoicing, on-boarding new clients, or any other key organisational functions as directed by the General Manager.

Assist with account management and work with the Accounts Manager to resolve any issues regarding invoicing or other payment matters such as debt collection, as required.

Ensure stock levels of office supplies are maintained and reordered.

This is a salary-based position + superannuation.

Requirements and desirable experience

Current Working with Children Check (Employment) and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Proof of vaccination for COVID19

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role (desired).

Strong knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Medicare funding (desired).

Experience using Practice Management Software (and the ability to learn and adapt to new practices/software when required).

Strong understanding of the areas of Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Music Therapy, Key Working, Dietetics, Feeding Therapy and/or Art Therapy (desired).

Able to build rapport and positive relationships with children, youth and their families.

Eligibility to work in Australia.
