I have an immediate 6 month contract opportunity with a client in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable and modular UI components using Vue.js (v3.x).
• Create dynamic, maintainable templates using the Nunjucks templating engine.
• Utilize Fractal (v1.x) for building and maintaining component libraries and living style guides.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable styles using SASS, with a strong focus on maintainability.
• Implement Tailwind CSS (v3.x) for utility-first styling, integrating it seamlessly with custom SASS as needed.
• Optimize frontend code for performance, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
• Use browser developer tools to debug issues and test for performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to translate design and business requirements into functional, high-quality code.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a frontend developer with a strong portfolio showcasing Vue.js projects.
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and frontend best practices.
• Familiarity with templating systems such as Nunjucks.
• Experience with design systems or pattern libraries, ideally using Fractal.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining styles using SASS and Tailwind CSS.
• Strong grasp of web accessibility (WCAG), browser debugging tools, and performance optimization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Optimizely or other Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs).
• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks or tools.
• Understanding of Git and version control best practices.
