About the role

Guardian Building Group is seeking an experienced QA Site Inspector to join our team. As a QA Site Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our construction projects, with a primary focus on residential houses. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to the success of our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor construction quality and compliance with specifications, plans, and industry standards

Identify and document any defects or non-conformances, and work with the construction team to implement corrective actions

Measure sites to provide materials required.

Maintain detailed records and documentation of all inspection activities and findings

Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to address quality-related issues

Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team to help improve overall quality performance

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Site Inspector or similar role in the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and quality control processes

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents

Proficient in the use of quality control tools and equipment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction, quality assurance, or a related field
